Teresa Kok was taken away on Friday [12/9/08]. Two self-proclaimed Muslim Groups were at the Sentul Police Station making report against Teresa on Sunday morning [14/9/08] around 11am.
At the scene, by the road side, some gangster-looking youngsters with yellow head-bands were holding some banners accusing Teresa of ”menghina Islam.”
I stopped my car and asked one of them what was it all about.
Me: Dik, apa dah jadi?
He: Ada orang menghina Islam.
Me: Siapa?
He: Tak tahu! (The banner he was holding read: "Teresa Kok Menghina Islam")
Me: Lalu you marah siapa?
He: Tak marah siapa, cari makan saja!
Me: Tapi Teresa Kok sudah ditangkap ISA.
He: Siapa Teresa Kok?
Me: ………
Y'know, this kind of thing is starting to either (1) happen more and more often, or (2) get more publicity with more people daring enough to come out and tell us what's really happening.
ReplyDeleteThe "protesters" obviously had NO IDEA what they were doing there, and the fact that he said "cari makan" says it all.
And if we were to tell this to anyone from the BN camp, it's no rocket science what they'd say. Probably something along the lines of "It's a lie."

2. The Minister of Home Affairs will fall on his proverbial keris and resign.
Michelle - James Redfield, author of 'The Celestine Prophecy,' posited that there are 4 basic types of human personalities, viz., Intimidator, Interrogator, Aloof, and Poor-Me. In patriarchal societies the father is often the Intimidator & mother the Interrogator, which results in their kids becoming either Aloof or Poor-Me types. Badawi is the Aloof type and Najib is a quivering blob of sleazy energy that Intimidates those under his command and Poor-Mes those who have him by the short and curlies.
ReplyDeleteChapchai - the IGP has apologized in the only language he understands by turning himself in for a heart transplant. Now he's convalescing and out of the public eye but I suspect his fear of Anwar will make him continue to issue orders from home, using Ismail Omar as his proxy, against the doctor's orders.
If he sincerely feels apologetic he ought to commit suicide like Zakaria. As for Hamid Albar, he'll have to resign first before falling on his keris. Doesn't work the other way around.
