BADAWI & NAJIB have sandbagged themselves behind the BN brand name, simply because they happen to share the same initials. “Can’t you see?” - they seem to be saying - “BN belongs to both of us because I am B and my deputy is N!”

One day after 916 Badawi and Najib have traded portfolios: the incumbent PM has passed the money bags to his deputy, and taken over the defence ministry. He thinks the DPM's liver is too "lily" and his lips too pink to take firm command if martial law is declared. Najib has already squirreled away more than his fair share of the booty, a few more pudgy handfuls won't make much difference. You can be sure unimaginable amounts of cash are already being transferred to offshore accounts.

People, do not weaken your resolve now. Rather, let us wholeheartedly focus on REGIME CHANGE NOW!

Badawi has maliciously spurned Anwar’s offer of a gentlemanly powwow to negotiate a peaceful transition. Instead, the Umno warlords are rushing for their ultimate weapons, the ISA and the racial tension card.
Mahathir's Gollum-like obsession with the Ring of Power will prompt him to strike while Badawi is under maximum duress. The Evil Mamak will seize this opportunity to insert his not-really-happening son Mukhriz into a position of power in the youth wing of the party, riding on Tengku Razaleigh's sunset dream of one last grab at the ring, and Muhyiddin Yassin's dark-horse political ambitions (shall we dub him the "Hyiddin Hand"?).
There will be total chaos in Umno, endangering the stability of the entire country. These Umnoputeras cannot imagine a future without them in the starring roles.

If the Royals are too paralyzed to take a stand now, the way the Thai King occasionally intervenes in political affairs during a national crisis, then when the Bloody Battle at the end of Time is over and BN's gargantuan carcass lies rotting in the noonday heat, post-feudal Malaysians may be ready to gently retire the monarchs and declare this nation a republic.

The next few days will determine the fate of Malaysia.
Sir
ReplyDeleteI applaud your bravery. I for one look forward to the day when I can breathe the clean air of KKB and walk to Magick river a free man. For, in reality, none of us are free. Our cage is a bit bigger than RPK's and the other ISA detainees, but it is a cage nonetheless. Perhaps, I will even stop by at your place for tea as I once did 20 years ago.

Greetings, Basho! I am none the wiser as to your identity (why so shy one?)
ReplyDeleteThink for a moment: when you realize who and what your existence actually signifies, you will break free of the illusory cocoon of limitations. When you can experience your own being in the fullness of your true potential - you will literally Roll On The Floor Laughing Your Fat Ass Off! Why?
Because, efficient though our secret police may be (when it comes to doing dirty bizniz for their Umnoputera masters) they cannot arrest you when you're simultaneously smaller than a subatomic particle and larger than a supergalaxy!
Even a cursory comparison reveals a disturbing degree of similarity between UMNO and the German National Socialist - Nazi - Party.
ReplyDelete70 years ago, Hitler and Goebbels systematically manufactured accusations against the Jews and then launched pogroms against anyone who opposed them. Today, we see UMNO resorting to the same fascist methods to cling to power.
UMNO's blunt instrument, the PDRM, have long given up any pretence of being an independent guardian of the law, and now subordinate themselves wholly to the paranoid whims of a fascist regime. The PDRM has goose-stepped nicely into the large jackboots of the Gestapo.
Now, the latest rumblings from Reichsfuhrer Badawi indicate a pogrom may be under way against Anwar next.
I think we need to be on high alert and be ready to mobilise a human cordon around Anwar and the key Pakatan leaders for the next few days, to defend against PDRM-Gestapo's ambush-and-grab tactics.
Let's see PDRM-Gestapo arrest 20,000 people.
Greetings Antares
ReplyDeleteI was merely a friend of a friend that followed some friends to your place one Sunday morning after a rather wild Saturday night. You will thus probably not remember me even if I told you my name. Nevertheless, I remember you and your house in the forest. I remember the beauty of Magick River and what Malaysia could be like. It has always been a dream of mine to buy a place like yours near the river. However, I have spent the last 20 years in Europe and I will probably spend quite a few more here. One day perhaps. Life gains its value from its temporality. When we are both free men, I shall make the journey again.
Way to go Antares!
