Understanding the 'tape worm' economy... (reprise)

<

Former Assistant Secretary of Housing under George H.W. Bush, Catherine Austin Fitts, blows the whistle on how the financial terrorists have deliberately imploded the US economy and transferred gargantuan amounts of wealth offshore as a means of sacrificing the American middle class. Fitts documents how trillions of dollars went missing from government coffers in the 90's and how she was personally targeted for exposing the fraud.

Fitts explains how every dollar of debt issued to service every war, building project, and government program since the American Revolution up to around 2 years ago - around $12 trillion - has been doubled again in just the last 18 months alone with the bank bailouts. "We're literally witnessing the leveraged buyout of a country and that's why I call it a financial coup d'état, and that's what the bailout is for," states Fitts.

Massive amounts of financial capital have been sucked out the United States and moved abroad, explains Fitts, ensuring that corporations have become more powerful than governments, changing the very structure of governance on the planet and ensuring we are ruled by private corporations. Pension and social security funds have also been stolen and moved offshore, leading to the end of fiscal responsibility and sovereignty as we know it.

END CORPORATE GREED NOW!!!

Clowns and anti-capitalists: Copenhagen’s other meet

COPENHAGEN, Dec 11 — While negotiators with furrowed brows and dark suits work painfully toward a global climate deal at Copenhagen’s Bella Center, a different kind of summit is underway in a sports center downtown.

In the DGI-Byen complex, a panel of economists argue for no-growth economies, fresh-faced students blog furiously and dreadlocked women work in interpreter booths. A clown wanders past.

Welcome to Klimaforum, the alternative summit organized by 30 Danish non-governmental organizations and student groups to complement and challenge the official talks.

“We want to influence the process at the Bella Center but we are also building a global civil society movement on climate change,” said organizer Kristine Holten-Andersen. “We are succeeding on that.”

The speaker line-up boasts the darlings of the anti-capitalist movement, including Vandana Shiva, George Monbiot and Naomi Klein (left), and will attract about 10,000 people from 92 countries over two weeks, she said.

While tensions rise at the official talks, the atmosphere at Klimaforum is optimistic.

“Go out and fight for Utopia!” cries one speaker, former Danish politician Niels I Meyer, in a talk on why people should work fewer hours to cut consumption and drive down emissions.

Chief Bolivian government negotiator, Angelica Navarro, was treated to a round of applause when she said yesterday that the root cause of climate change was capitalism.

“I am very glad to hear you because this is so hard to say in the Bella Center,” she said.

“I think what’s going on in this room is the most important thing that’s going on in Copenhagen,” Naomi Klein, author of seminal anti-consumerism text No Logo, said on Thursday.

Christiane Oros, a German environmental engineer attending Klimaforum this week, said she was inspired by the alternative summit: “It’s motivating for me and makes me want to look for what I can do afterwards in my life.” — Reuters

On 9 December 2009 a powerful vortex opened above Norway, baffling astronomers who have never witnessed any aerial phenomenon like this...

On 12 December 2009, not only will millions around the planet be holding vigils to show world leaders that we are absolutely serious about demanding "a real deal" on global climate issues and a commitment to put a stop to ecocidal activities, there will also be countless others doing special ceremonies and meditations to anchor a massive infusion of spiritual force from the Galactic Center, which will dramatically accelerate a mass awakening on all levels of consciousness.

I am inviting anyone who so desires, to spend the day at Magick River which is located within the radius of a transformational portal or planetary chakra. Bring a picnic lunch and be prepared to frolic in a magnificent wild river!

PEAK OIL AND THE FEAR FACTOR

Response dated 20 November 2007 to a posting from an American friend about "Peak Oil" and a looming "Energy Crisis"...

Thanks very much for passing this info on. Allow me to comment on this highly topical issue. Since the age of 19 I've been aware of the deliberate and systematic obfuscation inflicted on humanity by various institutions - from the mass media and professional PR agencies to academia and a plethora of "experts." All of this is undoubtedly designed to disempower us through undermining our self-confidence and optimism - and it is entirely founded on manipulating the FEAR factor.

This is my take on ENERGY: quantum physicists have been studying the interchangeability of energy and matter for decades and have suggested that at the most fundamental level EVERYTHING is a dynamic fusion and fission of possibilities in a seemingly infinite electromagnetic dance. This makes fossil fuels - petroleum, uranium, coal, and so on - only a minute - indeed, inconsequential - part of a whole unexplored and unknown spectrum of potential energy sources.

Robber Baron types have called the shots from the beginning of human societies. They do so by controlling through brute force all resources, commodities, and the means of distribution (see Buckminster Fuller's astute 1973 poem, Ethics). Obviously, this sort of heavy-handed, club-footed and unjust system can only occur amongst an immature and ethically-challenged species, for whom fang-and-claw politics is the norm.

Seems to be a Catch-22 here. The genetic legacy of ruthless ambition and aggressive warlordism we have inherited from our progenitor gods, the Anunnaki - of whom so little is known and about whom almost all records have been obliterated or hidden from public view, notwithstanding the somewhat distorted cosmomythology resurrected in the mid 1970s by maverick scholars like Zecharia Sitchin - has kept humanity in an artificially prolonged Dark Age.

When you consider corporate and political leaders like Dick Cheney, Robert Mugabe, and many others of similar ilk, it's easy to understand why atrocities such as Abu Ghraib, Guantanamo Bay - indeed, the obscene squandering of such a staggering amount of energy on warfaring rather than welfaring - can even occur. No matter how many decent folk oppose this barbaric and utterly primitive misuse of resources - and this diabolical distortion of all morphogenetic fields on the planet - nothing will change so long as a corrupt priesthood of self-serving scribes remains in control of the mass media.

What I'm saying, is that there is absolutely no "energy crisis" anywhere within the entire spectrum of existence. The "crisis" is manufactured by those who specialize in "crisis management." These are the same giant oil companies that have violently suppressed the emergence of alternative energy systems for decades. Apart from the obvious alternatives like solar, wind, thermal, and hydro - there are many hitherto unknown technologies just waiting for humanity to break free of its "demonic possession" and obsession with violence before they can be safely introduced to Earth.

The subtler forms of energy harvesting and conserving are not intended for use by a warlike species with unstable emotional bodies and infected, disintegrative egos.

You're perfectly right, my friend. We ARE all in trouble. Not because oil is running out (how many are aware that the present instability of the tectonic plates is partially caused by our reckless depletion of the Earth's body fats, her lubricants?). But because we have yet to reclaim our power and sovereignty from those who would impose external, centralized, and despotic rule on us.

For those of you open to science-fiction scenarios, this is what I envision: as each of us refocuses attention on our inner reality rather than allow our energies to be dissipated by the bad news "out there," we shall in no time find ourselves waking up from our robotic trance and emerging into full Buddha consciousness. From that fresh perspective, hitherto unimagined new options and possibilities will unfold before us like a 9D Pisgah vision! The word "crisis" will vanish from the collective memory.

Infinite Rainbow Blessings to All,
Antares

Hey, Ma, I've Joined The Secret Service...

From Anarcho-Communist to Born-Again Entrepreneur

I've done a lot of crazy things in my life. A few days ago I did another. I acted on a spur of the moment decision and became a member of the Secret Service. That's right, friends, I'm now a Secret Agent. And if you're among the millions who have been shown The Secret - the sensational smash-hit DVD that's now #1 at Amazon.com, you'll know what this really means. That's right, I'm now a born-again digital-age capitalist entrepreneur!

Those who have known me since my youthful days of transcendental rebellion will recall that my political stance was a solipsistic variation of anarcho-communism. I strongly believed in the value of Individual Freedom - while powerfully drawn to vague notions of egalitarianism, universal justice, and plain honesty. Lao-tzu said the best government is the least government. I still say self-government is the only tolerable form of government.

In later years this became a robust belief that one achieves the most by embodying one's ideals: that, essentially, we can only change from within. My life strategy was to minimize overheads and maximize my independence from compulsory routine and wage slavery; aspire towards a minimalist ecological footprint, attain optimum elegance and grace as I journey through life. In other words, consume less and produce more, give back as much as I take, at the very least. From that perspective I viewed a big fat bank account as irrelevant - even antagonistic - to my evolution as a conscious soul. Like many others mystically inclined, I valued the metaphysical above the physical. I embraced the abstract idea of limitless wealth without equating it to money, per se. Wealth means well-being, and I like the concept of "commonwealth" - wherein we instinctively recognize the synergetic advantages of win-win scenarios over win-lose or no-win - and therefore spontaneously choose to cooperate rather than compete.

But I was constantly frustrated by never having enough cash to fund my dreams.

In my more hot-headed days I could empathize with the militant anger of all those forced to play the part of "loser." It was easy to understand why some opt to destroy the stagnant Status Quo - rather than focus on creating a more dynamic, organic, and wholesome one.

I still feel it's far more aesthetic - and ethical - to find our pleasure in creative passion rather than consumptive greed. But folks who have to constantly worry about where their next meal is coming from are more likely to start evolving aesthetically and ethically only after their basic creature comforts are secured. In effect, once people feel truly abundant and fulfilled, it naturally follows that they will be attracted to nobler and subtler qualities.

Along comes the runaway success of The Secret - and, inspired by it, the Secret Science of Getting Rich. A few years ago, the idea of "getting rich" would have struck me as pretty vulgar. I'd have been embarrassed to even admit I was involved in some slick permutation of MLM. But the deed is done, the cash investment made. I can no longer blame Society, Bad Government, or Human Stupidity for my unimpressive bank balance. Net worth unknown. Potential unactualized. Dreams unfulfilled. Enough of that!

And so it makes perfect sense for me to consciously shift to a tack I have never before attempted: that is, to initiate income-raising ventures, rather than merely subsist on a few crumbs swept from the banquet table of the Rich, Famous, and Privileged. As Osho once sagely pointed out: communism and capitalism are two ends of the same stick. Or, rather, two ends of an energy loop. Without capital, what can a red-blooded commie share with his or her comrades - apart from doctrine and ideology? Any true-blue capitalist will tell you the only way wealth can be sustained is to keep redistributing it and let it circulate freely through the system. In that respect, the consummate capitalist becomes the ultimate communist.

Next time you bump into me, you'd better run - cause I'm gonna look and sound like an American snake-oil salesman. Nah.... just kidding. The only change you'll find is that I'll be a lot more aware of the thought-forms I'm running in my operating system ;-)
