Feelin' Feline? Celebrate Fearlessly!

It's not every year that the Golden Tiger gets to mate. This Valentine's Day, he just might get lucky. Have an exceptionally powerful and sexy Lunar Year, dear friends and loved ones!

  1. Antares, I am a tiger, married on Valentine's Day, but my older mate has lost the loving feelings lah! Elvis kept reminding me of this.

Don't know about Raja Petra, but Michelle Yeoh being 12 years younger should be different.

Fengshui consult-ant, Lynn Yap advised tigers to keep a low profile and stay away from weddings and funerals, but how?

    How's that for names dropping?

  2. One of the main causes for tigers disappearing from our forests is because they cannot mate. This is caused by forest fragmentation. Forests are not connected to each other and therefore tigers cannot move safely from one patch of forest to the other in search of mates and food. Forests are dissected by roads, railway lines and plantations, the latter being a major threat.

My colleagues and I have been working on this project called the Central Forest Spine : Ecological Linkages that identified all the priority areas (about 30 areas) in Peninsular Malaysia where the forest connections need to be reestablished. We are hoping that under the 10th Malaysia Plan, there will be some money to make these corridors a reality.

    Gong Xi Fa Chai, Antares.
