Behind The Scenes: PROJECT LAZARUS (repost)

In March 2007 I bumped into Daniel Tang (left, disguised as a brain surgeon), an old friend who used to work in Rediffusion as an audio engineer and who is now a senior partner at AddAudio in Petaling Jaya. I mentioned my desire to rescue hours of music from analog oblivion and Daniel impulsively offered his expert help with digitizing my archives.

Despite a very busy schedule, Daniel put in laborious hours lovingly removing mold from 20-year old acetate recordings - some on ¼-inch open-reel, the rest on compact cassette. He was assisted by film editor Kate James, whose patience proved a great asset when it came to manually unwinding and respooling yards of fragile acetate.

The project was delayed by weeks when Daniel discovered that their old Studer A-807 MKII open-reel deck needed repair and realignment before it could be used. Fortunately, Daniel had the foresight to document the painstaking process by snapping these images which he later uploaded on Picasa.

There's no way I can adequately thank Daniel Tang (and Kate James) for helping me raise my music from the dead, thereby making it available to posterity. Daniel's photos below show how the musical resurrection was accomplished...

Tools of the trade: ¼-in. splicing tape, Ampex 10in. metal spool, 3M 6in. plastic spool, Isopropyl alcohol in red bottle & paint brush.

¼-inch open-reel master with most of the tape unwound 
(the tape had not been wound on a metal spool and the yellow leader was where 
the tape had split into two separate sections). It was a tedious 2-3 hour job 
to rewind the tape by hand so as not to damage the edges of the fragile magnetic tape.

Re-inserting the core of the spool: sections of the tape were carefully removed
and old splices were inspected to make sure they still held, a process that took hours
(with many coffee breaks in between).

or Daniel would have been stuck all night in the studio!

Studer A-807 MKII 2-track deck on slow wind to keep the tape spooled as smoothly as possible. This was done multiple times to compact the spooled tape before actual playback
and digitizing could proceed.

The 1988 "Padang" recording (a 30-min contemporary ballet commissioned by Ramli Ibrahim) arrived in its original Rediffusion box. Incredible to hear an audio master from 20 years ago,
still pristine & sounding great!

Good exercise for the wrist - like a 2-hour meditation on time and eternity.

Some of the outtakes still sounded magical, so Daniel decided to digitize all of it.

55 minutes that could save your life (repost)

On 3 September 2009 I posted a piece on this blog headlined DRUG COMPANIES MAKE YOU SICK which warned against a surreptitious agenda of population culling via the manipulation of widespread panic and fear of "killer viruses" - thereby paving the way for governments to inflict mass vaccinations on their citizens. The vaccines for these laboratory-spawned viruses (H5N1, H1N1 to name but two) are manufactured by several giant pharmaceutical companies whose owners also serve as advisers to the World Health Organization (WHO). In 2005 the International Health Regulations were amended to give WHO the power to compel national governments to comply with prescribed measures to combat "global pandemics" (created by their own secret biowarfare research programs). The pharamaceutical giants involved stand to earn hundreds of billions from these diabolical experiments in psychological mass control - and at the same time the ruling elite's hidden agenda of quietly and systematically reducing the total human population on this planet from 7 to 2 billion will be further advanced. This in-depth interview with former medical editor Jane Bürgermeister adds gruesome detail to my earlier post. David and Goliath might be an appropriate title for this video. Because Jane Bürgermeister possesses an almost unreasonable amount of courage in her single-handed stand - against what many perceive as being a giant that few people are equipped to fight.

Jane is a young woman living in Vienna who, while working as a medical editor, was horrified to learn in early 2009 of the fiasco in which a Baxter International research facility in Orth-Donau, Austria, sent a quantity of human H3N2 viral material to 18 European laboratories.

Such a supply of experimental material would have been totally normal - except that in this instance the H3N2 had been somehow contaminated with live H5N1... the far more lethal Avian Flu.

As a medical editor, Jane immediately realized the import of what had happened - and what had nearly happened - and raised the alarm. But no-one in the Austrian media was interested. She then took matters into her own hands and filed legal charges against those who she considered the perpetrators to be.

Very soon after, Jane was dismissed from her job without explanation. Undeterred, she sought support on the internet and continued her campaign. In the months since then she has attracted committed followers - and critics - all over the world. She is not alone in suspecting that there exists a literally diabolical plan which is nothing less than the genocide of potentially hundreds of millions of people worldwide.

Project Camelot can understand how she has inspired many others to wake up and take action: it's a little harder to understand some of her critics. When we learned that a number of serious accusations had been leveled against her, the obvious thing to do was to seek her out and talk to her on camera - one of the things that Project Camelot is equipped to do best.

DRUG COMPANIES MAKE YOU SICK (repost)

An internal French government document that outlines detailed plans and orders for the forced vaccination of the French population using secure “vaccine” facilities and starting from September 28th has emerged.

The document dated August 21st and signed by the French Health Minister Rosaylne Batchelot-Narquin and the French Minister of Interior, Minister of the Interior, Overseas Territories Brice Hortefeux is addressed to the heads of each of France’s defense zones. the regional prefects in charge of police and the gendamerie, the prefects of departments and the heads of regional health authorities for hospitalization.

The objective of the 19-page document is the systematic vaccination of the entire French population in the period October, November, December 2009 and January 2010.

Secure facilities are to be established in every region that will serve as “vaccination centers.”

On page 3 the order is explicitly given that no medical establishments should serve as vaccine centers.

GPs are to play no role in the vaccination programme.

School age children are to be vaccinated by special mobile pandemic vaccination teams in their schools.

The largest vaccination facilities – Centers of Vaccination of a Large Capacity (Centres de vaccination de grande capacite (CVGC) – with added security (fonctionnement renforce) are calculated to vaccinate 2,100 people each day.

Vaccine “teams” are to work in parallel vaccinating people in three 4-hour blocs each day, and the document calculates that two teams operating in this way will allow 184,800 injections to be given to 92,400 people in a center working five days a week for the entire four month period of the mass vaccination campaign.

No explicit mention of forced vaccination is made but the document states that everyone in the country without exception is to be vaccinated. Data from the health insurance bodies are to be used to ensure that everyone receives the toxic "swine flu" jab.

Babies from six months are to be given the vaccines, which contain ingredients such as the adjuvant squalene and also in a dose more than 60,000 times higher than the amount of squalene that caused the Gulf War Syndrome in US and UK soldiers.

The use of squalene is illegal in the USA and UK but is expected to be allowed there too under an emergency pandemic decree.


The French government has bought 94 million doses of “swine flu” vaccine from Baxter, GSK, Novartis and Sanofi to carry out the forced vaccination programme.

The GSK and Novartis vaccines are classified as bioweapons by US and EU regulators and contain the dangerous squalene.

Baxter was found deliberately contaminating vaccine material with the live bird flu virus in Austria this February in order to start a global pandemic. WHO supplied the live bird flu virus, according to Baxter’s own spokesperson.

Baxter, Novartis and GSK executives sit on a key vaccine advisory board of WHO which recommended forced mass vaccinations in July, which are expected to bring in profits as high as 50 billion USD for vaccine companies.

Following WHO’s declaration of a pandemic level 6 emergency on June 11th, the world has moved under military law under WHO’s International Health Regulations 2005 incorporated in member state’s pandemic plans.

WHO, the UN, Baxter and other pharmaceutical companies are all linked with the Rockefeller and Rothschild and other family dynasties, who stand to make political and financial gains from the global forced vaccination programme under WHO.

WHO memos dating from 1972, discovered by Patrick Jordan, explain how to use vaccines to kill people by weakening their immune system, loading their bodies with viruses and creating a massive inflammatory reaction.

The August 21st document issued by the French government appears to be a chilling plan to initiate the mass murder of the French population by means of toxic vaccines under the cover of offering protection against a pandemic in just four weeks time.

Similar documents are believed to be circulating in all 194 member states of the WHO.

It is addressed to high-ranking government officials who are ordered to prepare to supervise and coordinate the implementation of the forced vaccination programme in their regions, and to submit appropriate plans by the middle of September.

Nothing scares people like a deadly pandemic of global proportions. Fear is a time-tested tool of mass control. When people are afraid, very afraid, they will obey just about any order if it could possibly save their lives.

Enter the World Health Organization and its panel of unsmiling but distinguished looking experts - many of whom happen to be shareholders in giant pharmaceutical companies.

Since the WHO is affiliated with the UN, people tend to unquestioningly accept its credentials. Doctors have enjoyed a long tradition of being respected by society, dating back to the days when witch doctors were revered or feared by everyone in the tribe.

Who could possibly believe that certain renegade factions within the World Health Organization have been actively engaged for decades in a cold-blooded population culling project endorsed by a handful of scientists and no less distinguished a personage than the Duke of Edinburgh himself.

It wasn't - and still isn't - easy for me to accept the fact that the uppermost strata of hereditary plutocrats remain stuck in a 19th century Malthusian mindset of scarcity geopolitics - quite conveniently forgetting that any condition of scarcity was actually created by their own ancestors' anthropocentric arrogance, avarice and hubris.

Lack, after all, is only the shadow side of greed.

There are those who believe that the morally ambiguous notion of population culling - let's call it genocide - actually began as far back in time as before the Great Deluge, when the Anunnaki gods walked upon and directly managed the earth. Unhappy with the genetic "abominations" that proliferated with Anunnaki-Adamic hybridization, Enlil the Sky God (prototype of the wrathful demiurge Yahweh) decreed that the Adamic race (that's us, Homo sapiens sapiens) be allowed to perish. It is from these little known wannabe gods that we have inherited our lethal legacy of warlordism.

However, what's known to most of us is that the rich and powerful ruling elites have invested heavily in top secret weapons of mass destruction - from neutron bombs and microwave missiles to climatological and biological warfare. Protected by "national security" ordinances, what goes on in these mysterious research facilities is never reported in the mainstream media and therefore rarely a topic of polite conversation.

Religious zealots would have us believe that sexually transmitted diseases like AIDS is a clear sign that God frowns on human promiscuity. But I have always been convinced that the HIV virus either escaped from a secret biowarfare lab - or was deliberately inserted into the human disease spectrum by secret government factions aligned with the population culling project.

In any case, you can be sure the antidote to AIDS already exists. Indeed, watered down forms of it are already being hawked at cutthroat prices by a few pharmaceutical companies.

What can any of us do in the face of such unmitigated evil?

First of all and most importantly... DON'T PANIC!

Fear is entirely counterproductive as a survival strategy in almost every instance. Fear enfeebles us and clouds our senses, rendering us utterly helpless before real and imaginary threats.

Looking at health issues from a holistic perspective, we realize that holding on to negative emotions is a sure way to weaken our immune systems and open the doors to a plethora of diseases.

So, rather than react in abject terror and succumb to the New World Order agenda of mass compulsory vaccination, what each of us can and must do is to liberate ourselves from the toxic influence of the mass media. Laboratory-created viruses like the H1N1 are spread at near lightspeed by CNN, Fox News, and the BBC as programmed fear. Our imagination is a powerful holographic projector that can manifest subconscious thoughtforms surreptitiously injected into us along with the daily news.

Anxiety alone is enough to suppress our immune systems - and that's why this is such a good time to remove your nose from that grindstone and smell the roses. Do a bit of meditation, reconnect with your inner being and the source of pure joy.

Reinforce your natural immunity by drinking lots of water and breathing in lungsful of fresh air whenever possible (big cities are disease incubators, get out to the countryside at every opportunity). Vitamins C and E and minerals like selenium boost your immune system... and they won't harm you!

Maintain a cheerful disposition and laugh as often as you can. Just think: each one of us who succeeds in doing so is unsubscribing from the victim consciousness that pharmaceutical companies feed vampire-like upon.

ENFEEBLED EGOS & NEIGHBORS FROM HELL (revisited)

FOR 27 YEARS I have dwelled in a physical location that most closely resembles my idea of paradise, At least until the past 9 years, more specifically the past few months.

What happened 9 years ago? Let's just say the village got Umnofied and Jakimized. (For those unfamiliar with these terms, Umno is a codename for racial bigotry and jingoism, while Jakim is a state-sponsored agency charged with Talibanizing the entire country).

About 4 years ago (though it often feels like the torture has been going on forever), our Orang Asli neighbor across the street brought home a karaoke machine - a heavy-duty one like those you find in huge Chinese restaurants. The whole family was delighted, even though not one of them can sing. Simply put, an overpowering whiff of hell was suddenly inserted into my humble hologram of heaven on earth.

To me there is nothing sadder than the sound of really bad music. And believe me, these neighbors from hell suffer from the most atrocious musical taste I have ever encountered.

Bad enough the kind of music they like, but the brain-numbing volume at which they habitually play it, totally oblivious of distortion and atrocious pitch, and the hours they are at it - you have to live here to believe it. One night, for example, the drunken party began very late - or very early - around 3am. At 7am the noise was still going strong. As I write this at 3:30pm the terrible music plays on and on and on, though at a slightly reduced volume (since everyone is presumably awake and there's no satisfaction to be had preventing them from sleep). Well, it's enough to make anyone contemplate migrating.

Have we spoken nicely to the neighbors about the noise pollution? Of course we have, repeatedly. The only response we ever get is an Orcish claim of territorial privilege ("Ini kampung kami, you balik!" This is our village, you go back where you came from!) True, there are many occasions when my nextdoor neighbor Mary or I are driven to such a degree of unmitigated fury we find ourselves yelling at them. "Jangan bising!" (Stop the racket!)

Occasionally the musical torment is augmented by hysterical high-pitched laughter. That's when I find myself shouting, "Monyet!" (Monkeys!) Mary has called the police. They were too lazy to investigate and suggested she lodge a formal report at the station. Mary was convinced the police might decide to arrest her instead - perhaps for insulting local customs or interfering with the Orang Asli's right to free speech.

Incidentally, the noisy neighbor's name is Atan son of Sen - but I bet he signs his name S. Atan. And to think, when I first arrived he was a tiny tot of 12 or 13 running around starkers and looking cute... 

Whatever happened to these once shy and gentle forest-dwellers? Blame it on electrification and the seriously stupefying effects of TV. Alcoholism, glue-sniffing, and the suspected abuse of crystal meth doesn't help either.

We may compare this diabolical manifestation of unmitigated lack of civility or consideration for others with the noise pollution experienced by many who have the misfortune to live near mosques.

It's essentially the same loutish expression of territorial privilege and entitlement common to provincial folk unaccustomed to cultural plurality. Apparently this sort of downright obtuseness and utter insensitivity occurs not only in Malaysia but wherever colonies of Muslim migrants are found.

While looking for images of mosque loudspeakers and karaoke machines, I stumbled on a blogpost by a Mumbai resident named Uma ranting about noise pollution from her neighborhood mosque.

Just as my Orang Asli neighbors from hell have made us feel like miserable intolerant killjoys for objecting to their delight in merrymaking and terrible music, those who insist on broadcasting their religious piety through massive loudspeakers must believe they are doing all their neighbors a great favor by invoking upon them Allah's abundant blessings.

Truth is, they are merely exposing themselves as evolutionary throwbacks - completely lacking in the complex neural circuitry without which internal feedback loops cannot develop, making them react to any and all (perceived) criticism with xenophobic aggression and hostility, instead of learning new behaviors and different survival strategies. Unable or unwilling to adapt to changing circumstances, the only foreseeable fate for such sorry specimens of humanity appears to be ultimate extinction.

I'm certainly disinclined to relocate to a different neighborhood on their account... but I just might consider migrating off-planet if the opportunity presents itself.

POSTSCRIPT: The karaoke machine finally packed it in, loudspeakers blown from daily abuse. But our relief was shortlived. A few months later another neighbor across the road, inspired by his drinking buddy, also decided to install a powerful karaoke system in his house. Luckily, he rarely plays music at night, only in the pre-dawn hours (when I'm so tired I could sleep through an earthquake).
