I was outraged by Darlene Bridget Luis's account of her nightmare experience with Mat Rempit as reported by Malaysiakini. It would appear that the PDRM are ever ready to intimidate, harass and arrest Abolish-ISA vigilers and young cyclists riding for justice - but when it comes to investigating serious crimes, they are worst than useless. Such appalling incompetence reflects extremely badly on Police Inspector General Tan Sri Musa Hassan (promoted by Mahathir for his complicity in the conspiracy to fix Anwar in 1998). Under Musa Hassan's watch, the PDRM has degenerated into a gang of uniformed thugs little better than their Mat Rempit cousins. The police no longer seem to serve the public interest - only their criminal bosses in Umno. Abdullah Ahmad Badawi abysmally failed in his avowed mission to reform the PDRM when he backed down from implementing the recommendations of the 2003 Royal Commission on the Police Force. Now the only way we can clean up the PDRM is to get rid of Umno/BN - the party of overaged Mat Rempit.

Two days after Deepavali, Darlene Bridget Luis returned from Singapore to spend some quality time with her family after being away for almost a month.
But the holiday turned into a nightmare the night she drove back home alone along the elevated highway of Jalan Ampang after attending a dinner.
The 25-year-old corporate manager was assaulted by Mat Rempits and sustained severe head and facial injuries and a broken leg. She also lost all her belongings.

I have a solution to the mat rempit problem, they involve 4 wheel drives with supercharged engines fitted with kangaroo bars, and giving civilians licenses to carry glock combat pistols.
ReplyDeleteHey , the police failed , heck even their own personnel got asaulted by the mat rempit.even in KT with high police density 2 cops were assulted, last week 1 was assaulted in KL.
The signs are already there -in langkawi, a group was doing wheelie stunts and one of them fell, no one helped the injured rempit, instead the cheered and clapped his misfortune with relish.
Its only a matter of time before vigilante's start acting if the police dont get their act together.
These are inevitable if things continue on the same trajectory,
my other idea is make them do hardlabor like washing public toilets and splash the pictures on newspapers complete with personal details to shame them.
Then send them on a supervised stint where they have to mop blood from the floors of the trauma section of public hospitals, so they get to see and smell the consequences of road accidents.
hook them up on high torque velocity machines(ones astronauts use) and measure repeatedly ,how many G's it takes to knock them out,
repeat ad nauseam until they get a phobia of speed.
I got more ideas, when Anwar takes over , I dont mind volunteering to set up a plan to rid us of this scourge.

The PDRM are only interested in wasy targets like harmless aunty and uncle protestors....but when it comes to the crunch, they hide behind "mama"'s skirt when confronted with these "Kapchai-Monkeys"...
