the art/images are amazing, and the ideas are pretty interesting too. although I do disagree with some of them.

I remember reading Lobsang Rampa as a thirteen year old troubled teenager---L.R's thoughts and ideas have remained with me ever since. My take on Lobsang Rampa is that he is a bit of a 'lovable rogue' some of whose ideas are plainly fabricated to appeal to a gullible mass readership, while other ideas of his are really up there with the truths of eternity.

You mention the excitement of discovering that there may be a great deal more to existence than meets the egocentric "I". Couldn't agree more--if only people would understand there is so much more than they can even imagine, and that the mysteries of consciousness and existence outweigh the dull, deadly, boring bits of human culture by a factor of ten thousand fold or more.

I don't agree with your point about "peak experiences" being the result of years of reading, thinking etc. In my view the peak experiences can and do come out of nowhere, (just as the universe came out of nowhere, "ex nihilo nihil fit") and that there are many paths to walk towards enlightenment, including the emotional, the intellectual, and the spiritual.

Someone once said, (I think it was the biologist, JBS Haldane) that the universe is not only stranger than we imagine, it is stranger than we can imagine.

Pantheism offers an opportunity to reconcile all differences. What I call dispelling the illusion of difference.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know I really enjoy reading your blog, so please do keep it up.

RedRosesBurning - Seth Speaks was among the early "channeled" books I came across and the intelligence that came through was impressive enough for the information to be valuable. No doubt fundamentalists will remind us the Devil is diabolically clever. Well, Extreme Intelligence is its own justification. The "Godfearing" tend to be nice kids but a bit dumb :-) Been decades since I read the Seth Material. Recall I found the prose unwieldy but superbly mind-expanding... After reading your post written in 2003,I felt strange and strong vibrations that our thoughts are in a single alignment like the planets in the Universe.My astral travel,my visions of Kuan Yin and St Anne and many unexplained manifestations would make us both typical candidates for the cuckoo's nest!
